Veldtschoen Taxidermy specialises in birds, mammals and fish. Tanning is done at the studio, to the highest international standards.

Basil and Kevin Boucher and their devoted staff at Hunters and Collectors Taxidermy Studio, offer professional services and the best possible results. They provide a large variety of forms, made by themselves, to cater for African species.

The Studio specialises in a variety of full mounts, mostly of smaller game, shoulder mounts, as well as birds. They prefer to use fibreglass mannikins, for it is a stronger, lighter material, and the capes bond better to them, giving better results in facial details, as opposed to the foam mannequins commonly used.

Veldtschoen Taxidermy is located in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, and was started about 20 years ago by Gerrit Smith and Jacques van Niekerk. They  provide nature lovers, hunters and anglers with excellent taxidermy work at reasonable prices, all delivered in good time. They cater for both the national and international markets.
 
Gerrit specialises in bird and fish taxidermy as well as educational projects, while Jacques specialises in mammal taxidermy – shoulder and full mounts.
